Overhead Power Line Designs (PLS Cadd & PLS Pole)

TDx Power is a licensed user of the PLS Cadd and PLS Pole power line design software. The company is accredited with Eskom Distribution for the design of overhead lines up to 132 kV. The company offers a comprehensive range of medium and high voltage overhead line design services. One of our unique overhead line offerings is a specialised overhead line shield wire design model. This model was developed in-house and it is used to model and design single and double earth wire arrangements to determine optimum shield wire combinations. The increasingly high fault levels on the South African 132 kV and 88 kV networks require careful consideration of this aspect, and TDx Power is proud of its capabilities and intellectual property rights associated with our design capability with respect to overhead line shield wires.
